strut roller bearings...

I have aftermarket shocks and springs. when I turn the wheel it pops and throws the car to the right. I'm guessing I need roller bearings... Are they universal? Where do you guys get them?

Springs and shocks should use all factory top hats and hardware. My guess is you left something out or you stacked them incorrectly

jack up the front of the car and wiggle the wheels and see if there is any play in them.

I have "spring bind" pop when turning in parking lots with my pbm coil overs if thats what you are talking about? If I turn at full lock like a u turn, it also has bad memory steer cuz of that spring bind. (its not binding in the traditional sense. the spring is turning with the steering and getting got up a bit is what I mean so it pops when the springs gets enough tension rotating and moves over a bit).

If that is what you are referring too, you can get torrington bearings (aka flat roller bearings) and put them on top of the spring on assembly. I haven't gotten around to doing mine yet. Dan at pbm said it should go away after driving a bit and its because their pillowball mounts are so stiff. but its still there after 8K miles. I'm going with softer spring rates though and I'll add the bearings then. 10kg/8kg is too stiff for the amounts of bumps in vt so my car washes out a lot on entry AND exit. need to soak up some more of the road.
