To strip or not to strip?

So I've been debating on stripping the interior of my 7 for a good while now. I already gutted the back of the car long ago. The only reason why I didn't do the front was because I was afraid to remove the dash to get the carpet out.

Now I also took out the stereo a long time ago. When I bough it, it didn't even have one in there. There aren't any speakers anywhere either. AC system didn't work, so I took that out as well.

Since I bought a new audi, I don't need my FC as a daily anymore. So I'm thinking about ripping out all the logicon, fans. motors, maybe the heater core as well - then go for the front carpet. It's all in working condition so I'll probably sell it all on here.

Thoughts? Opinions? I pretty much only use it on the track + for special drives when it's nice out. It's a 91 Turbo swapped.

If it's a track car, then strip right up to- and as far beyond as you dare- the letter of the rules.
Once done, it's no longer a street car, even for "special" drives.

If you want to drive it on the street, then leave it intact.

I would only be driving it on the street to the track + maybe once or twice a year other than that.

I've never understood the logic of driving a race vehicle to the track.
What happens if you crash it or suffer a major mechanical failure?

Then you say "HOLY ****" frantically call all your friends with trucks + ask them to rent a trailer for you so you can get your smashed car home.

I have no truck, or means of getting the car there otherwise. That's next on the list though.

Don't strip it unless you plan on keeping it until the car is a crumpled pile of steel. I hate people that strip a car to save weight for their supposed "track car" and then sell it 2 months after and wonder why nobody wants to buy it

Oh trust me, I'm going to keep it until I'm buried in it. I've spent way too much time + money into this thing to sell it. Unless someone wants to buy a half stripped 91 TII swap for 14k.
