Streetport .. should I?

Well I have a chance to do a streetport before I get the engine back together for final assembly.

I have alot of questions if anyone can help me..

#1 and most important
Will it still pass emissions?

#2 exactly how much of a gain would i see from it?

#3 any effect on engine longevity?

My car is an S4 N/A, btw

#1 mine did

#2 A nice increas up top, 6 port motors already have a lot of port timing built in so you don't feel too much

#3 haven't noticed

I say do it. You might not have the opportunity do do it again for a while. Might as well get some more power.

here is my take on porting NA cars. if your engine is running dont pull it to port. not worth the time.

if you na is dead and engine is out and your doing the porting yourself then do it.

if you have to pay someone to do the porting dont do it.

I'd say it depends on what you use it for. If you rely on half decent gas milage and want your engine to last you for a really long time I'd say don't do it. However, If you are looking for more HP and don't really care to much about gas milage and long life THEN GO FOR IT.
