unless you know anyone that is capable of building and porting your motor, you are gonna get ripped off. I got very lucky and ended up meeting a man capable of building some amazing motors and got one (street ported) built for only 1400.00 USD. And my car hauls some good ***!!!!!!! Find a club and use it to find a member that can build you a motor!!

Hey Noe.

A street port has little to nothing to do with reliability of an engine if it is properly tuned. What happens when you open up the port is that the port volumetric efficiency is increased. When you port an engine, you HAVE to keep in mind velocity. Too big is bad . When you you start changing port timing by porting out toward the side seal, then you have to retard the timing to keep it just as reliable as stock.

If you have any questions or comments, just let me know... BNRsupercars@aol.com
