Street port question w/ac

Does anybody have any experience with mild porting and still keeping the ac in tact. I have a 87 base model that I have removed the EGR, ACV, SMOG PUMP, AND 5TH AND 6TH PORT SLEEVES. I am entertaining the Idea of doing a mild street port but I would like to keep my ac running, What Im getting at is, will porting the engine effect the ac performance, right now it runs like it supposed to, does not idle funny or stall with the ac on. The fact that my ac works on my 30 year old car I would like to keep it that way. I am really undecided on what I want to do, I have thought about going turbo when I decide to rebuild but again how will that effect my a/c. I dont know what to do any info would be great.
Thank you in advance.

You didn’t say about removing the BAC valve, which is what usually bumps the idle up when theres a load on the engine. You should be fine
