Street Legal Question on FC2000 Body Kit

ok so here is the question cuz i never see it asked or anyone mention it
but i really love the fc2000 kit from re amem and am considering getting it
now the question comes over the optional ducting kit where the cold air duct replaces one of the lights on the passenger side of the car........
now what is the function of this extra light anyways since the kit uses two lights on each side
if i were to use the air ducting kit, would the car no longer be street legal since that extra light is no in tact???

if its the one i think it is, the optional duct takes the place of one of your high beams.

Is it the setup that looks kinda like a RX8?

Even if its not street legal a cop most likely won't ask to see your highbeams, if he dose tell him one is out, I doubt he will take the time to file a report on why you have a missing high beam.

didnt kno they were forbidden since ive seen lots of people do them.......

but how about for getting inspections etc....
i mean i guess if a lil extra cash gets them to overlook emissions then headlights wont be a problem
but thanks for the input

How often is your inspection? I mean a headlight is preety easy to change aswell as a front bumper.

I think it'll be fine, most cops won't bother filing the paperwork on a guy who's highbeam was stolen =)

Exactly my point, you think he wants to sit there and fill out like five fourms just to bust your *****?

ramello your bumps have been deleted. Bumps are not allowed in the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section.

In addition your signature is in violation of forum rules. The maximum signature size is the size of 6 lines of standard sized text. Your signtature looks to be almost double that.

Do not bump again, and please fix your signature.

Please read the sticky thread on 2nd gen RX-7 rules found near the top of this the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section before posting again.
