Strange Retracting Noise From Rear
When leaving work about an hour ago I noticed a strange retracting noise coming from the rear of the car. I had not started the car but had the key turned to the 'ACC'. At first I thought it might be my antenna but the noise is coming from the right rear(from a driving position). Furthermore, I disconnected the power antenna wire from my head unit because the antenna motor is not working.
The noise continued on so I decided to turn the car off completely, pull the key out and wait a few minutes. After about 5 minutes I inserted the key and began turning it. As soon as it hit the 'ACC' the noise started again. I turned on the car and began to drive away with the noise still present. After about 10 minutes it just went away.
Also, my car does not have the rear wiper option. I'm not sure if the fuel pump is located on that side of the car. The noise is definitely not coming from the side of the car where the antenna is located.
Any ideas?
I'm going to let it sit for a couple of hours and try this again.
Thanks.

did you cap off or insulate the antenna wire when you decided not to use it???
It works on ground, so if the wire could rub against or touch ground it would activate the antenna when every the key was in the ACC position.
You could pull the power antenna fuse to make sure as a temporary test.
