Story time! (kinda long)

Hey boys.

So the first thing that happens to me is i'm driving in the rain, i see this huge wide corner with no cars around... i mean this corner is huge...So anyways, i come into it, thinking a little manuvering skill might be sweet, so i start off i'm in 2nd, turning the wheel, and giving it a little gas, i kick the end out nicely, but like a dumbass i feel like i need more control and i hit the brakes, thus doing a complete 180. I didn't even want to do anythin big, Just shows you...i suck at driving in the rain? how can a good drift be accomplished in the rain? counter steer?

also i'm on the way home and my steering wheel is kinda weak feeling...so i wonder whats up give it a little tug, and the whole thing flies off! What the hell! where did the bolt go. Do sometimes the bolts just get loose? Also the steering signal cancellers in the steerin column? How can they be lined up is there tabs on the backing of the wheel that cancel? Sorry this has got pretty lenghty.......If anyone could help out it would be great! thanks

Evan

Yea that nut is usually on there pretty good, and even when it is off you usually need to pull VERY friggin hard on the wheel for it to come off. I have taken quite a few steering wheels off of cars, and sometimes you cant even get it off without a wheel puller. That is strange that it just came off.

No, no crashing...Just 180 :S like i said, it was a big turn, so i wasn't in risk....i wouldn't have done it if it was a little turn.... But how do you make the turn signal cancellers work, one side works sometime.....any ideas?
