storing car for winter

Ok im planing on storing my rx-7 for the winter. i was wondering if it is bad for the engine if i store it for 3 months without starting it...or should i periodically start it up and run it for a while??

I would definitely start it every once in awhile... Some other things you should do are to put it on jackstands, or if that's not possible, at least put about 50 psi in your tires to avoid the temporary flat-spots from sitting... put a light coat of oil on your brake rotors so they don't rust, (just remember to clean it off before driving!!!), and when you pull the car out is the spring, I would recommend changing all fluids, no matter how new they were when stored.

Putting a car in winter storage is always the most depressing day of the year for me.
