stock turbo limits

What are the limits of the stock turbo and intercooler?
i was planning on getting the AEM meth/water kit alongside larger secondaries and boost controller.

ive read that water injection can boost the efficiancy of a turbo

just curious what kind of power levels can be had with stock parts

Conventional wisdom says 240-280 or so, with most people getting around 250. but dynos all differ.

According to his sig he's running a 9.7:1 6 port turbo. No one really knows, I haven't seen any S5 6 port turbo setups dyno with the stock turbo. You will benefit a lot from the WI especially if you're running the stock TMIC. How much boost are you running and what EMS?

im just running the stock boost level on an s4 turbo and im using a greddy Emanage blue with, boost sensor, injector controller and ignition controller with the stock s5 n/a cpu, maf, map sensor

i also have a aem wideband and about to get an egt gauge

but has anyone really pushed a stock turbo to 15 psi? they just won't do it? im not talking specifically about my setup as i know i would have knock issues because of my much higher compression

i'm thinking of going to a T2 keg

if your doing water meth and bigger injectors...and if the motor is proted you can get about 300 hp out of it or really close to it

Over 12 psi the stocker does nothing but pumps heat...

that is old conventional wisdom and it loses efficiency at 14 not at 12.

with everything being perfect and all the stars aligned, injecting pre-turbo with the methanol injection you possibly could get to 300 but not with the TMIC.
