stock tire sizes?

stock tire sizes?

does neone know what the stock tire sizes are i wana go as wide as possible with the stock rim but if i go to tirerack or something like that they give me a few differnt sizes and BTW im a complete idot when ppl start saying stuff like "225/45" and when ppl start talking about offsets i just get completly lost

opps forgot

87 T2 rims but im sure that if you have the other sizes some ppl will be looking for them. i know that they are 16's but what about all the other numbers?

GXL comes with a 205/60/15. Just so you know what those numbers mean next time you hear them....the first number is how many mm wide the tread is, the middle number is the side wall height expressed as a % of tread width, and the last number is the diameter of the rim. So the tire I mention would have a side wall 60% as tall as the tread is wide.... 0.6x205=123 If you want to know what size your car came with look at the little label on the drivers door jam.

stock on 87 turbo is 205/55r16 on 16"x7" rims with 40mm offset.
you can fit 225/50r16 in the rear. but that size will probably rub in the front.
