Exclamation Stock temperature gauge problem

I've search the forum about this but I couldn't get an answer. The problem is that when my car is off, my stock temperature gauge, the needle is below the 0 line. But when it's all warmed up it function properly. Is there a way to calibrate the stock temp gauge or check a way why the needle is below the line?

on an s4 right? Since you say it works correctly. This is a question for how the gauge looks and not the function yes? Personally I wouldn't bother, but if it's driving you nuts you can remove the cluster, unscrew the clear faceplate, and CAREFULLY adjust the needles' stop position by hand until it is where you like it.

The main point here is to note where the gauge usually sits at operating temperature. Anything over that should be cause for serious concern, and turning your engine off with the quickness.

Cool I'll give it a try and yes I forgot it was an s4. Yeah I'm just concern about how much the needle will be at when it's fix. Thanks for the help .

is it just me?
there is no Zero on a temp gauge(stock s4)!
it is C (cold) or H (hot).

Haha my bad I guess I interpreted it wrong but the needle gauge is suppose to be at the bottom line of the gauge when the car is turned off, instead mines was below the line. Hopefully that clears out some misunderstanding
