Stock spring rates

Anybody know what the stock spring rates are on a GXL (mine's an 86)?

Is there a location on this board to find all the specs on the car? Or is there somewhere else on the net?

The FC suspension came in a soft and hard variant. The hard setup was used in the T2, GTUs and the sport models. Soft for about everything else. If I recall correctly, the difference between hard & soft setup was no more then 20lbs/inch.

does this mean that my S has ~130 lb/in rates?

Mazdatrix has tested some stock springs and some aftermarket springs and this is what they show:

IIRC, a 20% increase in spring rates is generally safe for use w/ the original struts.

Actually for the S5 models they all used the same soft springs regardless of Turbo, GTUs or GXL... Except the 'verts (they got the heavy duty rear springs, but the same soft front springs as the coupes).
