Stock S5 turbo's boost patter and other ?'s
Hey all I just wanted to know what the stock S5 turbo's boost patter is like. Also whats its efficiency range and by what PSI level is it over spinning itself.
i think 15psi is where the actual turbo starts to fall off drastically in the efficiency.
i think 12-13 is maxing out the intercooler and shortly thereafter, 14, is where the turbo starts workin too hard for not enough money.

anything over 1bar and the turbo tends to start puking oil, I think you nailed the efficiency pretty well. With a nice front mound the turbo makes power well to about .9bar; after which any higher pressures begin to just spin the **** out of the turbo abusing it's poor bearings.
