stock radio jumping.

my radio went bad so i went through the process in the fsm to find out what was wrong. ended up to be the a bad EQ. i put jumpers in the radio and its working now WITHOUT the EQ.

questions

- is there a common problem for the stock EQ? sometimes itll work but then die after 10-15 minutes like it isnt getting ENOUGH power, but it is gettin power. maybe bad solder joints, relays, or fuses inside?

- the radio works now with the jumpers and its not bad. i just want to know will this kill my batery? should i jump other wires as well? which? i notice some lighting features on the radio dont work, like the screen itself but that could be just be because its old.

thanks

If you only jumpered the pins shown in your diagram, then it should not be an issue for anything.

They are simply the in and out for each side.

Might take pin 6 to 12volts Accessory to see if that fixes your display being out, but other than that no.
