Stock power and timing marks MISSING.
I was wondering if the 146@6500 was fwhp or rwhp (I think fwhp, but hey...just in case
. Anyway for a much more important question, the timing marks aren't on the pulley, there are no marks on it at ALL. Does anyone know how to set the timing (w/out the marks) or where the marks are supposed to be. Any help would be appreciated. Also what is the driveline loss on an '86 7??? I've heard anywhere from 12-20% (I doubt 20 I'm guessing something like 14-15 maybe) which would be roughly 124rwhp so...what do you guys know?

As for the timing, you are going to have to do some cleaning and inspection... My main pully has a notch where the timing marks are. If you get some degreaser on it and clean up the pully, you'll probably be able to see the notch, if not the paint as well.

Or go to http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda2.htm
and look under COOLING, then click on the pulleys and they tell you what they stand for(the marks)
or to copy: The Aluminum Main Drive Double Sheave Pulley is designed for high performance/RPM street and
moderate racing use, slowing the water pump and alternator 13-15 %, thereby reducing cavitation
and power loss. If used with our Aluminum Alternator Double Sheave Pulley, you can have a true
dual belt system. The stock air conditioning pulley is accommodated. Timing marks are provided
at 10¡, ATC (0¡), and at 10 degrees and 20 degrees BTC.
