Stock OEM Mazda Clutch?

I searched for quite a while and there seems to be some HUGE descrepensies about how much the factory stock Mazda oem clutch can take... it varies from 250hp/ftlb to 400.

Now I am looking in this thread to simply figure outwhat the stock clutch can take without slipping ONLY FROM EXPERIENCE... not heresay please.

That would include a clutch that is not shot. This is for my freinds car that I did a turbo conversion for. He wants to konw when to replace his clutch when he starts adding power.

Anybody with the info thank you.
Jeffrey
P.S. This is for the Turbo clutches only thank you.

I think a lot of it has to do with the pressure plate that is behind the clutch. I think ACT's HD clutch is using a stock clutch disk but since the ACT pressure plate is "upgraded" it can put more clamping force on the disk increasing its power capacity. This is based on observation though I don't have much "fact" to back it up. Other than ACT's claim about their HD clutch kit.

I personally have an ACT Clutch and flywheel. So I cannot say... I do know that the ACT unit is indeed a nice setup.
But I am looking for stock clamping power and about when she starts to slip.
