Stock looking engine bay modified motor

Anyone done say street port with ecu, ported w/g, maybe exhaust but left the engine bay looking as stock as possible? I’m talking rats nest, air pump tmic, intake, etc all still there whether functional or not.

It’s the route I would like to go when it is rebuild time. As mine looks like this:

Please post pics and describe mods if so.

Thanks! My goal was always to have the engine bay remaining somewhat OEM looking. When you look close the details of the add-ons start to appear but overall it all came together satisfactory.

I have (in respect to the things that matter to performance), in my swapped MGB though I don't run the rats nest though I could, the intake ports are roughly FD secondary sized with an extended closing and a scissor edge, the exhaust are a very large 'D', the turbo is some sort of hybrid - I bought it used and the specs look somewhat like BNRs older stage 3s, but who knows. The biggest restriction you'll find is the intercooler. I made ~260/220 @ roughly 10 psi of boost and only 10 degrees of advance. This is on my engine dyno, not at the wheels - I'd suspect with boost up to my current 13 and timing advanced to 16ish as it sits now it's going to be roughly the same if not higher at the wheels - currently dealing with creating a surge setup before I put it on my hub dynos to be sure.

Oh - don't judge my other work on my welding :P It was literally my first aluminum project.
