Stock BOV vent to atmosphere with standalone
So I have read some threads that showed that venting the stock BOV with a stock computer causes issues because it has already calculated in that air that should be recirculated.
Since I am running a standalone, this will not be an issue, so how do I hook it up?
P.S. I will be at roughly 14-16 psi. I cant remember if the stock holds up or if it starts bleeding at those pressures.

Leave the recirc line off. Not sure if 16 psi is too much for it, but only one way to find out I guess
And you're correct. With the ECU you're using, speed density does not use an airflow meter or mass airflow sensor, so it will not care what you do with the air charge all the way up to the throttle body.

Ugh, check valve.
Why people do this, I don't know. Just recirculate it, or buy a cheap open vented BOV. Or use an FD BOV that is recirculated. Just anything but a garden store check valve, please.

I plan on eventually upgrading to a synapse blow off valve, but at the moment, the stock one will have to do...I read that you couldn't easily vent to atmosphere since it is expecting that air to be there, but since I will have a Megasquirt that wont matter.
I guess initially it will be easier to recirc. I'll vent to atmosphere when I get around to it. :P
