stock boost gauge question?

i was wondering if the stock boost gauge was anything to pay attenchin too. does it even work right. because sometimes in first i get the last square but not all the way to the 45 but in pretty much all the other gears i get to full boost. i have a 91 tii

not worth looking at..

but you'll never get full boost in 1st anyways.

Yep, the stock boost gauge is useless to the max.
Spending $20-$50 on a new one is a very good upgrade just to know if there are any boost/vacuum problems happening with your engine - or if you plan to do performance modifications in the future.

For most people running stock cars, the stock guage is fine. For any enthusiast, whether they mod or not, an aftermarket guage is best.
