Exclamation Stock amplifier 91 n/a

91 n/a, I have a kenwood aftermarket cd player. Is the stock amp still in the car?? How do I check to see if its stock? where is it?

Assuming you have a US spec coupe, in the attachment, it's item number 8. Remove the glovebox. Looking through the hole where the glovebox was, it's down and to the right. The picture in the red box is what it looks like. To bypass it, simply unplug bot the input wiring harness and output wiring harness, and plug those two into each other.

If you have a high powered aftermarket deck or an aftermarket amp, it sounds much better if the factory amp is removed.

is 4x50watt highpower. When u mean deck u mean like the reciever right?

Yes, a receiver is a deck. The factory amp is not expecting 50 watts of input.

k thanks alot man, u have any idea what the best way to wire the rear speakers and side door speakers to the new reciever. Cause I want to make it all clean connections. Or at least new.

My initial thoughts are all new wires or an adapter plug to connect the new deck to the old harness.
