stock amp, cd player...

okay, i searched already but couldn't find anything that would really help me. i have an 88 gxl. i just recently bought and installed a blaupunkt cd player (cd-52 heidelberg) and 10 disc changer, they both power on and work fine, only there is no sound. all speakers dont work what-so-ever, but they worked fine with the stock radio. all wires were solidered correctly and everything connected correctly. someone help me? i've already called and talked to blaupunkt.

thx,
-eric

Rip out the stock amp.
Plus thats a what? 20rms + per speaker head unit right? The stockers are 10w MAX.
You need some new speakers.

you can rip out the stock amp, or this is what my research found. Is there is 1 wire that connects to the factory radio and isn't connected to the cd player in the wireing diagrams for the new harness. Cut the plug (I have an 87 TII and mine was a brown colored wire) and then solder that to the "remote on" wire in your harness. Powers up the factory amp and works fine. Or just remove the factory amp as previously stated.
