Stock Amp

I have a '90 GXL. To bypass the stock amp for the door speakers all I have to do is unplug it and then plug the two connectors together?

Sorry to post in your thread with no answer, buit i have done many audio installs and I think you might get better sound quality if you just ran new speaker wire from the head unit to the speaker. These are small cars so its easy and good speaker wire is much better than the stock wires. Just an idea tho
