Stock alarm?
Stock alarm?
Hey i was wondering how do I disarm the stock alarm system? Evertime I open my doors the alarm goes off and I can only disarm it by unlocking the hatch?
I want to permantly turn off the alarm, how do I do this?

It's a big shiney goldish colour box with a harness plugged into it.
Take apart the passenger side paneling around the stock speaker (underside of the p/s dash), and have a look around for it.
You'll see it.. It takes 2 seconds to unplug, and about 4 seconds to totally remove..

might be your whole problem right there.
And remember the latch switch on the inside of the doors will not disarm, they will only arm and trigger the system.
And also remember that Black13B's post on the alarm location only works on the S4 (86-88), as the S5 has it built into the CPU.

Try to figure mine out icemark.
Anytime I close the doors on my car the light automatically starts blinking. If I lock the doors and then go away for 5 min and then pop them open w/o using the key it doesnt go off. The light flashes whether or not the doors are even locked.

On the S4 alarm, the light should be on solid for about 30 seconds after the last door was closed while locked. Then it will start blinking fast for another 15 seconds, and then start blinking slow (like once every 2 or 3 seconds) when armed.
If yours is always blinking fast, then it is not arming (probably a bad latch switch).
