Stock 88T2 Fuel Pressure

If not mistaken, the PSI on (ignition on, car not running) is around 36psi. While Idleing, does it drop to around 25psi?

Thanks guys.

Around 37-39psi with just the key to ON and approx 28-32 at idle. Yours seems normal.

Leave that gauge on the car and go for a drive. When you see those lean numbers you mentioned in your other post, take a quick look at the fuel pressure. In my opinion, if your not boosting and driving along, if you see anything b/t 35 and 40psi on the gauge, and your car is bucking.........it ain't the fuel pressure at all, but either some large air leak/too small injectors/something wrong with the apex seals.

A small vaccum hose leaking might well cause a ratty idle and take a 11:1afr to idle the engine, as you describe in your other post. But if it were a small hose off, then when you start driving in the higher rpms, it won't hardly be noticable and the afr won't be ANYTING like the 16:1 or 18:1 you described in your other post. Heck, I think you even said 20:1. That isn't some small vacuum hose off. It's a large air leak or the injector plugs on wrong, or too small of injectors. You didn't say anything about a ported engine which I know even less about.

I was shooting numbers out. My idle is high, like 36-38psi. No load, 40psi. I will adjust my FPR.

The engine was just rebuilt by Kevin Landers, I am sure the seals are fine.

I tore the top end down and put it back together. No change.

I do have a ported engine, with a hybrid turbo, and stock injectors.

My injectors look ok, but will double check them.

It really does not look like a fuel pressure problem to me. Certainly not a low pressure problem .

Maybe take a look and make sure the injector plugs are going where they should and if that's good, swap the injectors from secondary to primary (if they are all 550's)

I agree. I will check that tonight.
