Stiff suspension on my car.

Ok I have an 87 Sport it is suppossed to have the stiff/hard suspension out of all the FC's right? Do I have to do anything differently about getting some aftermarket shox and springs? anti-sway bars? bushings?

What parts made this suspension harder than the others? will I lose the stiffness if I go with different springs and shocks?

Thanks for the input in advance.

To tell you the truth the stock suspension is pretty stiff as it is...you don't really need to upgrade it if your going to autoX your car, though it will help....one way to check if yours is worn push down on all for coners of your car, if it rebounds (up and down) after you pushed on it there prolly worn, if it just returns to the normal position you should be fine. Also don't get any struts/shocks/springs from the local auto stores...either go with KYB, Tokico, Ebiach, S/T.....in other words I wouldn't buy somthing someone hasn't used on there car

You got the 5-lug rims, right?&nbsp Then you need to pick the "hard" or "sport" options when buying those aftermarket components.

Hmmm...in need of a new suspension I see. Well PLEASE buy mine from me. It's literally brand new in the box and I've got pics. I'm letting the whole thing go for $400 plus shipping (originally $573 plus shipping). I'm in serious need right now cuz I can't get my car on the road w/out this money.

Here are the pics...
