sticky accel...

for some reason the accel pedal is kinda sticky. when driving it feels hard to press, when you release it it wont come all the way back so the car will idle around 2k, but i can pull it off with my foot and drop the idle back down to normal. is there a spring bad near the pedal? i just lubbed up the throttle boddy that helped some but now its just the sticking pedal... what can i do. i looked in the FSM and it has no interior section

Try some lithium grease spray around the throttle springs/linkage under the hood. I had the same thing, it was all bone dry and sticking...

Yup, get on your back and have a good look at the pedal...could be a few things under there but also check all linkages and the throttle body, including bent throttle plate linkages etc. Cable can bind as well if it got twisted/frayed when you had it off.
