sticking hot start

i run a stand alone on my FC so i can dial in my own accelerated warm up if necessary using a GM AIC. Occasionally the stock FC stuff will stick at 2k all day even though my TPS is reading idle voltage, should i pull off my UIM and TB and remove the BAC and all that hot start stuff or is there some way to adjust it out without removing everything?

It's best just to pull the upper intake and clean the sticking parts. The stock system generally just works. However, since you have the option to use another air valve....6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
