Unhappy Sticking in 1st gear

Last night i had my girlfriend out doing donuts in an empty parking lot, i stoped and tried to put the car in nutral and it wouldnt come out of gear. So i slowly took my foot off the clutch to see what would happen and nothing, it was like it was in nutral but the shifter wouldnt move, i had to fight with it for 10min to get it free. And its happened 2 other times befor that. Any thoughts on why.. or what happened?

hahahaha
"i was with my girlfriend doing donuts" that just sounds stupid. reminds me of those math questions you could get in school, where they would give you extra unneeded info to throw you off, just pointless stuff that was not needed. ok sorry.

well...these other times if froze, were you doing donuts? prolly the high temp of banging off the revlimiter seized the tranny together for a bit? (wildest possiblity i can think of) think about changing the fluid in the tranny and shifter area.
uh, i guess if you ask how then that just shows how much it needs to be done. try search or just go up to your local dealership.
