hi does anyone know if the sticker on driver side door that has the manufacturer date and the vin number is available from mazda. i need to replace mine. thanks bdls

 

I've been wondering the samething...Its quite weird how lots of people come up with the same thoughts!!

Just think, it would be like ordering a 'new' VIN for a stolen or salvaged vehicle!

I'm not making any implications here, just pointing out how big the hassle for Mazda would be trying to ensure that these 'stickers' go to the rightful owner I would think that they are made at the time the car is assembled and never again.


Now that I've said that, just curious now, why would you want one?

 

car went thru a complete restoration of the body and all sticker were remove. getting new ones from the mazda dealer but they can't find a part number for that one sticker. i would think they would sell that one because if you were hit hard right there you would need to get a new sticker. plus my painter say that he has gotten them from bmw and lexus

 

along the same line, does anyone know if I can get an original window sticker or build ticket? I know some mfgrs do it with an etching of the vin and a copy of the title.
