Stereo sound keeps cutting out!
While I am driving my car the stereo sound will cutt out and in out and in, bumps will bring it back or make it go out again if it comes back and I give the car gas it may go out to. Frusturating as hell lol, I have checked my fuses and the wiring to the stereo. This is an aftermarket pioneer stereo just an fyi. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to remedy it please let me know.
Also anyone know where I can find the plastic surround for the center console that goes around the stereo and ash try and all that good stuff mine is junk.

honestly i had this same problem.. it might be your battery terminals.. check both + and - if they are loose.. as dumb as it might sound it fixed mine.... when i would put the music too loud or press on the brake while my stereo was on it would shut off and turn back on if i hit a bump like you mentioned..
also check your wires behind the radio if you wired them yourself double check them in case they car grounding or what not..
hope this helps

I hate to say it, but I had the same problem with my Pioneer deck. I fixed it by replacing the deck with a new one. Problem went away.
If you are not satisfied with that, check all the wiring like the previous poster. You mentioned you checked the fuses, but did you check the "room" fuse. That might be the problem too, but if that were the case you wouldn't have any interior lights either.
The center console and related trim can be pricey to replace. Either go to a junkyard and pray you find something or you can shell out the cash at Mazdatrix.com or similar store.
