stereo Q's, need help. thanks

i need help installing a new deck into my fc so if anyone can help id appreciate it.

the new deck is a used 2000 accord 6 disc indash. the accord it came out of i think had factory powered amps also and i was wondering if i could use the honda amp ground wire to power up the fc stock amps.

i also wanted to know if the door speakers are subs only in the stock system. if so would the FAI-3a help? my friend gave it to me saying its good for older cars.

heres all the info i got.
************************************************** *******
What are the wire colors for adding aftermarket radio
LTBlue/Red= 12v+
LtBlue/White= +Accessory
LtBlue/Yellow= -power ant trigger
Red/Black=+ Lumination
White=Factory Amp Turn on. can the accord factory amp ground wire power this? and does this turn on all amps?

Ground to the body, use the 10mm bolt behind the center console front drivers access panel. Do not use the Red/Black as ground it will damage the interior light circuit and dimmer in the car

Front Speakers (maximum of a 15 watt peak from the radio):
LtGreen/Red= Left
LtGreen/Black= Left

LtGreen= Right
LtGreen/Yellow=Right

Rear Speakers (if applicable, if you have the amplified rear speakers again the Maximum of 15 watts peak is all the stock speaker amp input can handle):
Brown= Left rear
Brown/White= Left Rear

LtBlue= Right Rear
LtBlue/Orange=Right Rear

i dont know why you would want to do that just buy an after market deck and remove factory amps cleaner better signal you gotta think about this the factory amps that are in your car are at least 15 years old which means to achieve the power out put they were dirty (High amounts of distortion) not to mention they are 15 Years old!!! just think of what computers were like 15 years ago old technology not to mention how are you going to mount that honda radio in your dash ? you will have to rig it up not a good idea. that scosche piece that you have pictured is an over complicated line out converter you can use it but you dont need it . if you just replace the deck with a reputable after market unit and rewire the car (easy to do in these cars ) and replace the speakers you will be much more satisfied with the outcome . how do i know all of this ..... This is what i do for a living i am a MECP certified Install Tech for a custom car audio shop and have been doing this for like ten years.
this is just my advice
take it or leave it

yeah i just tried to go test fit the honda deck and it doesnt fit. so i was mesing with the stock deck and i actually found out how to get it to work again. for some reason if i push the whole unit from under the eq, it comes on and everything works. if i let go nothing. agian this is all stock and nothing is cut yet. i did also notice that the light on the eq doesnt come on when i switch the light on. the light button on the eq doenst do anything either.

from all this i conclude it either bad solder points or contacts in the eq or theres a bad ground. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?
