steering wheel installing difficulty

i've recently bought a after-market momo steering wheel. When after installing, i find it hard to steer, im thinking it has something to do with the horn, but im not sure. i notice that the stock wheel doesnt touch the horn area/chip, but the momo steering wheel does. if anyone have any suggestions in install please let me know thanks.

let me clarify the problem a little more for my last post may seem confusing, there is a plastic thing, which i believe is the horns, the stock steering wheel doesnt touch it when i put it on, but the momo steering wheel, the hub touches the plastic. im guessing that's causing the momo steering wheel to be stiffer and harder to make a turn. If im installing it wrong, or if there's any suggestions please let me know. Thank You

You either have the wrong adapter or mis-aligned the adapter and are crushing the wheel position sensor.

Do not drive the car until you fix it. The steering position sensor is an expensive part to replace.

aftermarket steering wheel shouldn't make it stiffer to turn.

the stock seats are a breeze to take out .its put them back in that gets a lil tricky sometimes cause the carpet is so close to the holes

There are two tabs that stick up and match into the two holes on the hub adapter (or stock steering wheel).

If you busted off the two plastic tabs, then you will need to replace (at very least) the plastic position sensor sleeve, of possibly the whole position sensor (if you cranked the adapter down too tight).
