I've been reading a couple threads about this on the 3rd Gen Forum with positive interest. In short, gradually adding water to the engine while it's running can help dissipate a lot of the internal carbon buildup. Does anyone have a good method to share for this? I'm assuming I'd want to add the water past the throttle body, somewhere on the intake. Not sure what is the best place.

I think if we were to get some pictures and a short write-up going it could be very helpful to a lot of people. I did some searching and there aren't many threads on how to steam clean the FC.

Its no different than adding seafoam to the engine, except cheaper

Just yank a vacuum line and let the engine suck it in, but not enough where it stalls it..........or hydrolock it like i did once on my daughters truck on accident

Ive done, water, sea foam, and zoom cleaner. They seem to have similar results, although zoom cleaner is mazdas product to do the same thing.
