starting problem, need ideas please

Having an issue turning the engine when trying to start. Everything is getting power, and i can hear the starter spinning, but it won't turn over the engine. I replaced the starter thinking it was possibly the clutch part in that, and also tried turning the pulleys a bit in case of a missing flywheel tooth. Still the same result. Any ideas?

Did you hook the starter up right because on of the wires that goes to the starter should be bolted to the bolt that goes all the way threw and has a nut on the other side which I believe is the negitive side of the battery. I had t that problem and it was because I hooked the wires up wrong. Or you could have gotten a starter with a bad cilenoid (thats spelled wrong) you can just go to autozone and buy just that with out the starter motor.
