change your oil pan gasket, intake gaskets and vacuum lines, maybe even the front cover gasket. Fuel lines as well, new belts.
put some mmo in the spark plug holes first as well, make sure it has fresh oil, i'd also change the oil after letting it run and warm up as well.
New plugs will also be a good idea, could hurt to change the o-rings in the oil filter pedestal, rubber likes to crack when it sits for too long. New injector o-rings and grommets, perhaps even lean the injecors.
It's easier to do it all right the first time. Might as well reground the ecu under the dash while youre at it.

I had bought a rebuild that had been sitting for a while. Owner didn't even tape off the ports. Some of the apex seals were a bit sluggish or stuck.
I used PB blaster in my engine when I bought it. PB blaster penetrates as well as lubes so you get a better chance of unsticking seals.
I let it sit then I would slowly crank it
Then I put in 2 stroke oil and let it sit on each chamber for a bit.
The apex seals and engine then moved much smoother.
Just do this through the spark plug holes as a precaution and you may save the engine.
