Starting issue after engine has been running (possibly electical)

I’m not really sure what I would do a search for so I shall go ahead and explain my problem and ask for assistance on the issue

I have a 1987 GXL, stock except the exhaust and transmission was changed from auto to manual (done prior to me acquiring the car).

After I have run the car lets just say for 15min (more or less), once I shut it off it will not turn over and the security light does not flash after the key is removed... I can start the car again once I see the security light flashing which takes approximately 20-30 min of just letting the car sit.

so my question is does anyone know if this problem is related to the security system and if yes please explain what is going on, or has it got something to do with a heat issue, or could it be something else altogether?

Dude. Light blue text on a white background. No.

I can't help you because I can't read your post.

All text is white on a dark blue back ground for me.... but ok I'll change it to black text and hope that helps you see what I am asking.

Mines doing kinda something like that. It's getting really(emphasize on really) hot, like something in the area of my turbo is glowing hot metal red and I've noticed that my leading coil isn't sparking on one side, but it's doing this cold as well. Not sure if this will help you any, but thought I'de give some input, better than none.

electical seems to be fine as i have pulled every fuse and gone over each wire connection I can get at althou I do belive it is an electrical problem I dont understand why after the car sits for 1/2 - 1 hour it cranks over again with no problem I just got back in from a drive only min ago parked the car and just to see again turned it off pulled out the key and no security flashing and the car wont crank over... I'll go out in an hour and it will! I just dont get it...
