Starting and coolant problems

I understand that many people have asked similar questions to the one I am about to ask, but I would like to get as specific with the problem as I can. I have a 10th AE RX-7 with 123,000 miles on it. However, there was a complete rebuild at 60,000 miles by the man who had it before I did. When I bought the car, it had a very hard time starting. The engine would crank, but it became very flooded and would not turn over. It got so annoying that I ended up making a switch that cuts off the fuel pump while I cranked on the engine and turn it on when the engine turns over. This solution, although it does work, is NOT how the car should start. Next, when I constantly have to refill the radiator because the low coolant alarm keeps going off in the car. After driving, I can open the hood and the secondary tank is overflowing, dumping coolent on the ground. Also, if I let the car set for several minutes and roll it back to see if anything is dripping, there is one big puddle (where the coolant has left the secondary container) and two smaller puddles in line about two inches behind the larger one. Also, when I start the car, sometimes I smell antifreeze being burnt (the sweet smelling stuff). Where do I go from here? Is there anything that I can do? Thank you for your time.

sorry to tell you but i think its the coolent seal(same happened to me). Go to the FAQ almost last thing icemark said in the first post:

I think my engine has been overheated. How can I check to see if the coolant seals are good?
Fill coolant system ALL THE WAY UP (engine cold). Make sure that the fluid level is as high as you can get it. Leave the filler cap off. Remove the EGI fuse. Crank the motor (it should not start). If you get a LARGE amount of coolant coming out of the coolant fill, its safe to assume your coolant seals are blown. Also, a good indication is a fuel/exhaust smell in the coolant.

try searching for the coolent seal fix on this site some people says it works, i say buy a used motor or rebuild and port.
