Starter problems

Ok idk if I have some wireing issue or if my starter is bad. I pulled my car in to my garage shut the car off went to start the car back up and the starter just clicked really fast and then wouldn't do anything. If I have someone tap the starter wile I push my button for the starter I t will click every now and then. I checked my wireing and the power wire to the starter is geting power and the signale wire gets power when I push my starter button.

Take the metal part of a screw driver long enough to do the job and use it to bridge the terminal at the starter that is supplied voltage from the battery to the starter solenoid terminal while the car is in neutral and see if the starter engages each and every time. If it does then you likely have a wiring issue and not a starter problem per se.

How's your battery? Should not go any less than 11 volts while starting
