WA starter problem?

Ok guys I am undergoing a s4 JDM TII swap to my 86 SE. When I turn the key the starter solenoid (i think) makes a clicking sound but there is no crank. So my question is: what is all needed to make the engine crank?
All my idiot lights come on very bright and All my electronics work. My oil pressure gauge goes to the max and my battery meter doesnt move.
Hopefully I'll get a video up very soon.
Thanks,
Spencer

Sounds like a few wiring gremlins. You can try to tap the starter with a hammer to unstick the solenoid, but that is a very temporary fix.

+1
Clicking usually means bad battery or bad starter...

In my experience tapping plus cranking at the same time works well.

But you can tap it then start it. That worked for me also.

if you are sure the bettery is fully charged, you can do as other said and hit the starter with a hammer, while cranking, but if that doesnt work, then your starter is going to need replacement.
