Hey guys, my car wouldn't start, when i turned the key. I was far from home, so i had a friend come out to help me.

I figured it was just low battery, tried boosting it. I heard the starter click in but not try to turn.

My buddy told me to smack it with a wrench while he was cranking the motor.

I found it under the car (had to turn the wheels aside to get in there) driver side, you can see the little solonoid with a loomed wire coming out of it. The starter is right above it, if you reach around the solonoid you could smack the starter with something.

I smacked it with a wrench while he cranked and sure enough it started.

Saved me the money to tow the car home. Going to change the starter on monday.
