Starter Problem

I have a Starter problem, although i have already replace the starter with a new one. My 7 will some times decide not to start. EIther it will make a sound as a little clicking or a sound as their was a little treble on. I have to either push starter or Hit it. Can Anyone tell me what could this be? Is it wiring? or a loose cables?

The solenoid - if you have to tap it with a hammer/crow bar/etc to get it to turn over, solution: rebuild or replace your starter.

Does it come with a life time warranty. And yes, i bought a new and i also have the old one. But for some bleeding reason the new one is giving me problems. so what do i need to get or you the warranty?

sometimes even "new" and "rebuilt" starters are bad, especially if thier from autozone or advance. True they come with a lifetime warranty, but how many times do you want to replace the starter? I tend to try to get brand new not rebuilt anything so that probably means spending more but replacing less.

You might try just changing the starter solenoid. They cost about 32 bucks and there's just two screws holding them on.
