started modding/fixing...some pics(5)
so this last week i've been doing some work and having lots of fun with my FC (88 se) at lab (i go to tech school for automotive...basically work on all our cars for free and get credit for it)
first we re-routed the intake
took off the rubber hose and the stock air box and all that, and i got a 3" coupler from the hardware store right off the TB going right to the AFM, and after that i got an AFM adapter to a piece of aluminum piping (cold air kit off a prelude) that i cut down to go down to where the old air box used to be...but under it
put a filter on it, and put a filter on the other vac line that went into the air box
also drilled a hole into the rubber coupler by the TB, because there was another vac line that ran into the stock tube, and it had no place to go...so in it went, and put some sealant around it
today i got my clock working again, woohoo
had to pull off the idiot light cluster, and get a wiring diagram off alldata, figure out which wires power/keep memory to the clock (red/black and blue/black if my mind serves me right) and crimp the pin connections a little tighter, put everything back together and called it a day
also regrounded my main starter relay, had intermittent starting problems, determined it was a ground and got that taken care of
also pics of my deck and shifter...i guess
edit: if my fart cannons come tomorrow i'm going to be putting on my RB cat replacement pipe/presilencer and new y-pipe and mufflers, and that's my exhaust until i get more funds and can get a header and the RB catback
