if you don't know how they work I'd stay away...

no stand alone is "easier", "safer" in the wrong hands, and "Less costly".

installing one is not that easy and you should really get it tuned on a dyno by someone who knows what they are doing.

but if you really want to you can pick up haltech e6k for around $1200. but you'd probably want bigger injectors too for another $400, a bigger fuel pump for $150, and a fuel pressure reg for another $150-200...

expect a good couple full days of work to install it if you understand what you are doing.

unless you have plans for big turbos and 400+ HP I'd just stick to basics like bigger injectors, fuel pump, and apexi S-AFC.

what are your goals from the car?

I pretty much agree with Scott 89T2 on this one. An EMS is not a bolt-on mod. Your best bet is to check with your local rotary-smart EMS dealers/installers, and get a price quote which includes installation and tuning. Some good mid-price EMS units include those from Electromotive, Haltech, and Wolf. I would choose whichever of these your local tuner likes best.

with this kit will i still need an aditional injector controller?
No, and you don't need an FCD either. In fact, most EMS units also include extras like turbo timers, AFR meters, O2 meters, boost controllers, rev limiters, etc., which makes them an even better value.

Im not really sure if these work together or what, please let me know... Thanks
When you check on EMS pricing, also check on building an entire "system". If the shop can install and tune an EMS, they will also be able to recommend some other good mods.
