the stage 2 is going in tomarrow. i have a few questions.

hows it going people...

ok i have a set of 680cc injectors in as secondaries without anything to controll them for another week or two. On the dyno my A/F was at 11 till 4k then it crazy went off the bottom of the chart. hurting my hp numbers im sure. this was at 11psi.

I still have the stock top mount for about another month.

I plan on getting the realteck7 1.5 ecu chip and a fuel controller asap. im leaning towards the hks piggyback because it has more adjustments and moveable rpm points for under $200 new.

here is some info on it. HKS s-afr info

***ok with this setup... how much boost will be safe for the next few weeks till i can complete my project? the WG is ported massive for a s4 and the owner got it to run 6psi min with no controller.

from what i have read i think 9psi should be ok... i think....

Bov isn't opening.
Stage 2? From who? Is it new or used? Lag might be associated with cracks in the turbine housing, it should not be that laggy....

there were no cracks. ... and it is at 6psi by 3500or so and hits 9.5 at 4k. so full boost at 4k. i do have my twin scroll still hooked up. It was working fine with my stock turbo earlier today. made 5psi by 2.5k and full boost by 3.5k or so.

and the bov is opening... when i let off at like 6psi it sounds normal... when i rev it all the way it does the choppy madness. i have a feeling it dosent open enough, it says adjustable... would this fix it?

umm the turbo is a stock ht-18 and the stock compressor side has been opened up to fit a t04b wheel. the hot side is stock s4 A/R and wheel and all that.

The turbo is offerend at rotorsports. thats where it was origionally purchased from. the WG is ported as big as possible for a s4. without my mbc it went to 6psi. i then put my mbc on the new setup and adjusted it to ~9.

i mean full boost at ~4k is not that bad? right?

any ideas of what to check would help.

thanks
