squeaky suspension???help please

alright guys, hopefully i can resolve this squeaking problem im having. when i drive my car (86 gxl) it makes alot of noise, it would be nice if that was from the exhaust but no. it seems to be coming from the wheel wells. since im always the one driving, i can only say that it squeaks when the car is in 1st and 2nd..just crawling...i was thinking the brakes maybe but after i checked all the brakes, they were still pretty thick. the next thing i am assuming is the shocks or springs. the rear suspension could make these squeaking sound when the car bounce right. are these sounds indicating the rear suspension is going and i need to replace them. the guy i bought my car from, edomund, told me he replaced the stock stuff with stiffer aftermarket ones. could it be that because its stiffer, it squeaks. im not a suspension guru and haven't messed with suspensions very much to know for sure. any advice is greatly welcomed and appreciated.

All RX-7s after 10 years make noise from the rear trailing arm bushings.
Warm weather make is worse.

After I replaced them, it still groaned some with suspension movement.

I just got done replacing my rear control arm bushings, and my rear sway bar bushings. It squeaks a WHOLE LOT more now than it did before. But I'm fine with that, just knowing that it's a new part, not an old part.

polyurethane bushings will squeak when they rub, ie, whenever the piece they are fitted on moves. you need to get something to lube them up to keep them from squeaking. there are also some brands that have black "graphite impregnated" polyurethane bushings which are supposed to be less squeaky.

well why dont you get out the car and try having someone push oni your car getting it to go up and down and try to find the noise..could be those bushings or even just the shocks..
