Squeaky buzz on low rpm??

I couldn't find anything on this issue yet so i thought I'd post. I was on a road trip and while in the mountains my coolant bubbled and popped my reservoir cap off. I don't know if its related but since then I have been having issues with my electrical system. The idiot lights come on below 1500 rpm or so which I've had happen but only when I at below 600 rpm and it wants to stall. Since this happened I have charged the battery overnight and the lights still came back the moment I was driving so I don't believe its a battery issue. Alongside this there is a squeal sound. The lights I could live with but the soft buzz sounds happens when the car accelerates and decelerates around 1200 rpm (I can check later). The squeal is coming from behind the dash from what I can tell. Its very different from the buzzes from redline or loose plastic on acceleration. This is much more constant and whiney than those. My power is also as a whole is also struggling, I believe my voltage is down from normal and connected to that, the car stops audio randomly but also consistently if I have the headlights on.

The first thing that comes to mind would be the alternator. Its worth mentioning that to see if we could improve the rear radiator fan we also raised the alternator to add more slack. If the alternator is going then I would have thought all the idiot lights should come on because that's what I've read.

Any help is appreciated

welcome to the board.

maybe antifreeze got on the belt and now you need to clean the alternator pulley, and/or maybe change the belt.

Ok Ill try that, might help the battery issues if nothing else. I'm gonna replace the temp sensor and reservoir cap anyway so I'll add it to the list, can't hurt to do, thanks
