i always look for info on the sports edition seeing that i have one and all... but whenever i look in a factory mag or n e thing as such i always see the general models.....(SE,GXL,T2,) what i really want to know is ... is a sports edition a base model with t2 suspension, 5-lug(optional lsd) and a black aerodynamic wing? i may have left some things out but its ok... is the sports model really a base on steroids??

 

my 87 brochure lists the base and sport on the same page.

The sport is the pre 88 GTU...It has 5 lug suspension but not the T2 heavy duty suspension no sun roof aero kit and the little nub spoiler. It is a nice car but ill take my GTU

 

Jack we just picked up a 87 sport with 375 miles on a street port...


All original manuals are still in the car and nice shape.. things that just came with the sport model..

also this sport has the Aero package on it... its sweet...
