sport suspension!!!

I just noticed this... In my s4 turbo II I have a selection between sport and normal suspension. For the people thaqt have it or had it is a noticable diff.? or is it just crap and I should get a spring combo right now

Basically all it does is change the stiffness or your suspension.

Many will say it doesn't really do a lot. I haven't driven my 7 yet (unsaftied, and uninsured) so I can't tell you offhand.

it works

I have the auto adjusting suspension on my 1989 GXL, despite my 170k miles it still works very nicely. I can def tell a difference in body roll between normal and sport, normal is like it turns by angling the car (like my dads cavalier - i feel the sides rise, vertical movement) while sport is like a true sports car where it is mostly the tires and my body making the turn (feels more like my moms maxima -almost complete lateral movement).

In an autocross I could tell a difference in the body roll taken in pictures, ironically I got a better time with normal suspension, which tells me it was all driver cause they were all bad times

I know that when I go over speed bumps my body will be affected by the car more on sport (aka I'll hit my head), while it is a lot nicer on manual.

You should be able to tell a noticeable difference if you try to put your weight on your car in the different modes. If you can't your shocks may be shot and and/or not adjusting (check all wires, listen for whirs when you switch buttons)

It definatly makes a diffrence if it is working right wich it did for me, if you want to experiment you can take the motors off and adjust them so they are stiffer than the sport setting.
