Speedometer not working:-/
Just got my car back together and the speedo doesn't work. It's not showing anything but the tach still works. What the he'll happened?
Cable fell off the back of the gauge cluster or it broke at the transmission. If you get under the car and take the cable off the transmission you can spin it with an electric drill while a helper watches the speedometer. If the speed need moves the cable is attached to the back of the gauge cluster. If it doesn't then you need to try to reach under the dash and push it back in. Laying on you back with your head under the dash is really fun! Good luck.
You can find them for sale on the forum or regional section of this forum or you can search your local parts yards. Did it break? If you had the car apart it's likely the cable fell off the back of the speedo.
